I would expect normal high street jewelers will have a big mark up - but in teh trading areas i might get better prices? Or - does anyone know of a good place in the Tel Aviv area? ie H.Stern might be a good place, but their prices per g/ct are normally very high.

  We buy from Jackson in Ramat Gan. www.jackson.co.il They have a huge selection and can custom-make too. Prices are cheaper than high street jewellers. It took me a while to get used to the balagan there, but once you get past that it's great.
