Could that translate to a shade from another brand? Maybe MAC (ive never tried MAC or other nice brands for that matter, benefit was my first, id be open to try any that are highly recommended)

I keep track of all of my shades in different brands (even samples) because it gives me a better shot at finding the correct drugstore shade. I am using CYO life proof and L’Oréal True Match Lumi right now and really like them both. I’m not in my 70’s but I have older, textured skin and sometimes prefer the lumi finish and sometimes the matte of CYO. Both have medium buildable coverage and don’t break or dry me out.

I had a MAC mua try mineralize on me and I really liked how light and natural it was, but it did feel a little shiny, even with some powder on top. I think it may have been because she put extra moisturiser on just underneath. Can anybody make any specific recommendations please? Hope it's ok to ask.
