Maida Vale Massage offers quality holistic and deep tissue massage either in your home or mine at an affordable price, believing that massage should be accessible for people who need regular sessions, not an over-priced, occasional 'treat'.
Lucy has been qualified for 10 years and uses a range of techniques to gear each massage to you. Originally trained in holistic massage (a form of swedish massage which takes into account the whole body), she also uses deep tissue, sports and pressure point techniques. Her massage is suitable during pregnancy and uses a pregnancy bean bag so Mum can lie on her front - bliss!
Lucy says, "I used to travel all over Central London, working with a large range of people, including famous clients (Don Henley from the Eagles), principal dancers (children and adults) in the Billy Elliot musical, amongst many others. I have also worked from Neals Yard Remedies in Marylebone and Leamington Spa and often use their oils. As a parent, I know how much benefit a regular massage can give and finding someone reasonably priced who really knows what they are doing can be harder to find than you would think. I see lots of back and neck problems but love that amidst all of that, I get to work with young people too. My own children respond amazingly to massage (even a very short one) and I regularly return to it for them when they go through phases of not sleeping well."
I now have a REN facialist/OPI manicurist available and a freelance sports therapist who is an ex-professional ballet dancer.
Good back massage to recommend in the area? I have a scoliosis and suffering a bit recently... Thank you!!
