  Looking for decent Veterinarian-my son had to take his two German Shepherds in this afternoon with bloody diarrhea, vomiting. Erlanger Vet Clinic gave them two shots each, subq fluids to 1, antibiotics to both and.......$885 dollars and 45 min later they were out the door. I'm fairly certain a human visit to an Urgent Care wouldn't cost this much. One of the antibiotics is identical to what we give humans and it's $4.00 generic at Kroger, they charged $27+ for each bottle. It's simply unconscionable what they charge. Any good and reasonably priced recommendations welcome. Btw they're both young otherwise - 1 and 1 1/2 years old.

  We love Middendorf Animal Hospital - we've been taking our golden doodle there since we got him a year ago and they have been wonderful! I always feel like they truly care about him and never rush us during appointments! We use them for boarding as well!!
