She is extremely thorough in giving every animal a nose to tail examination at every appointment, without exception. This is how she skillfully finds things like ticks, lumps, scratches, scars, etc. Her knowledge of pet nutrition grows by the hour, as her constant internet searches reveal pet food recalls and the latest findings on what constitutes a healthy diet for cats and dogs. Such information is readily shared with her clients. And last, but certainly NOT the least impressive, is her uncanny ability to connect with cats and dogs via what can only be described as an innate talent. I am no longer surprised by this ability after witnessing it dozens of times, but she does continue to amaze her clients who are referring to her as a “cat” or “dog whisperer”. Lori is able to utilize original behavioral modification techniques on animals that yield consistent results, via positive reinforcement, and gladly passes this practice to her clients. And, there is no better testament to Lori’s dedication and aptitude than the stellar word-of-mouth recommendations from pet parents and other pet professionals that have earned her critical acclaim.
