  I just wanted to share my experience at The Pet Barracks (they do grooming, doggy day care and boarding)... I made an appointment for my senior pug (he'll be 13 next month) to have him groomed. I was really nervous to try a new place, especially since he has some health issues and he gets worse if he is stressed or excited. Well, Amanda was super sweet and gentle, took the time to sit and talk to me when I got there to get all the details on his health and what I wanted done. Everything was also written down. She had him done in under two hours and he looks absolutely adorable and looked very relaxed and happy when I picked him up. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants someone to take really great care of their dog :)

  Best dog groomer, preferably but not necessarily, on the east side? I have a senior 12 yo pug with some breathing issues so I am very picky with who handles him. Thanks in advance! :)

  Amanda at http://thepetbarracks.com on the NE is INCREDIBLE. She is gentle, kind and does an extremely good job. I have three mini schnauzers who used to be terrified of the groomer and they now get excited when we get to Amanda. They come back looking and smelling divine and I know they haven't been mistreated or handled badly like MANY places. I highly recommend her.
