  So I don't want to drive my dog into the city for vet appointments anymore. Time to get one more local. Who do you all recommend for healthy dog upkeep? I don't want the *cheapest* but the one in the city told us we needed a $900 a year dental cleaning and I think that's a bit much for a dog. Don't get me wrong, I have an unhealthy attachment to my pup, but I don't even spend $900 a year on my OWN medical bills.

  Limerick vet (limerickvet.com) does emergencies. But any emergency visit will probably be expensive anywhere you go. We use the Collegeville Cat Clinic for regular visits, but Metropolitan for emergencies, which is pricey.
