  Tube Amp Repair? Hey everyone, I have a wonderful tube amp that I was gifted, and is pretty invaluable. A year ago during my move, it was never bumped, but it just won't play sound (switched cords and guitars to check), but will turn on and light up. I want to find a good repair shop or repairman in the city (Beaverton would be a plus, but I'm sure best options are in the city). Any recommendations? Cheaper is good, but I need trustworthy and experience! Thank you all.

  Amphead. Jim Taylor 5225 A SE 78 th Portland OR 97206 www.amphead.org 503-231-4035. Excellent work, he's a good guitar player himself, very good listener. Just as comfortable with solid state or tubes. Lots of experience so he can diagnose problems quickly. Keeps a good stock of common repair parts. His fixes stay fixed, he doesn't try and talk you into doing more than you ask for. Any modification you want, he knows how to do.
