  Thoughts on Airbnb Reception for a Small Wedding? I'm looking into reception venue options for our very small wedding (9-12 adults, 3-5 kids). Our ceremony is booked for our local arboretum's wedding meadow during the evening, and I'm considering just booking an event friendly Airbnb for a backyard dinner. Obviously I'd be ready to bring in outside catering/decorations. Does anyone have experience with this? Or suggestions for alternate venues? We'll be in Portland, OR if anyone knows of specific options for the area!

  Hey! Portlander here. 🙂 I've shot a few weddings that were in large Airbnbs/VRBOs and they were perfect for more intimate weddings. There's a filter on both sites to only see options that would work well for events, but in the past when I've reached out on behalf of a couple I was working with, even if there wasn't anything specially on the listing about weddings, owners were really helpful.   I've always liked The McClean House http://www.mcleanhouse.org/ It's West Linn, but it's great for what you are looking for. smile emoticon
