  Hello everybody. I have already posted a query couple week ago but got some more facts and seeking for an advise . My son is suffering with constipation for over a year now. When he finally goes to toilet his stool is soft and mushy. He goes every 4-5 days and his poo is absolutely huge. He has very low iron and ferritin levels despite of a good diet. He is tall for his age but very slim and always has dark under eye circles. He lost 1kg in weight in last 7 months. He was 12.5 kg at 1.5yo and now he is 2 y3m old and he is only 11.5kg. Doctor still doesn't see any problems... As senokat didnt work for constipation they gave me movicol. It might have been a coincidence but two days after starting movicol my son was vomiting every 20min through all night . I have managed to get his urine checked by a nurse today and his sample shows blood ,protein and ketons in his urine. They gave me antibiotics to treat urine infection. Am i being over sensitive mother or my GP is blind that something is going very wrong in this little body and further tests should be done? Can any of you reccomend me any private peadiatrician in East Midlans area? I want to do all tests privately as im not going nowhere with my GP who thinks all those symptoms are normal

  Gosh, this is chronic. You are totally right! For a start, a food intolerance test may help reveal foods which are causing issues. The dark rings can be an indication. Lots of water and daily epsom salt baths... the magnesium gently softens stools. It sounds as though he not absorbing nutrients and I hope you find a good naturopath to guide you through.
