Located just north of Raleigh in Wake Forest, near beautiful Falls Lake, Happy Trails Farm offers guided Trail Rides, Summer & Track Out Camp, Birthday Parties, Lessons, Boarding and events such as Team Building, Family Reunions, Engagements and Scouts, where they can earn badges. We pride ourselves in maintaining a casual, family orientated atmosphere that provides the best environment for every kind of horse enthusiast.
Best places for young adults to go horseback riding in or near Wake Forest? None of them have alot of riding experience, but they would like to find a place with nice horses and perhaps pretty trails for casual riding. Suggestions please.

Where can I take some visiting family members for horseback riding without breaking the bank? Looking to do it sometime next week during the day. Everyone who will be riding has had some basic training and they are looking to do it for fun! Please feel free to PM me as well! Thanks in advance!

Trail rides at Happy Trails on Dogwood Lane in Wake Forest - (919) 528-7968 are cheaper than Dead Broke Farm...our preference is Happy Trails but both offer a nice trail ride.
Looking for a good place for our 13 yr old to take horse riding lessons. Not competitive, just trail riding and caring for them.

Happy Trails off New Light is awesome! Camp, trail rides, parties, and they let the kids care for the horses. Extremely reasonable. My older daughter went to Southern Oak for years but my younger daughter now goes to Happy Trails. http://www.happytrailsfarm.us
My kids are starting school in a few months. I need some ideas for track out camps other than the Y. Something for 5/6 year olds. TIA.
