  Great awareness post, thanks Holly! 😊 Currently a lot of cats and kittens out at SCARS at the moment. 😩 luckily the number of dogs is not as high as it has been.   Ok, so my son has just discovered his much loved cat is a female and not a male like we originally thought....no negative comments please.... So now sadly he is considering rehoming her as the cost of desexing a female is almost double that of a male, if not more. He is a full time student who works part time but lately has been getting hardly any hours so it is rather difficult for him to come up with a few hundred dollars quickly. It hurts me to see him so sad over this dilemma so I was wondering if anyone knows of a vet who offers payment plans for desexing? Thank you. Kind regards, heartbroken mum of a wonderful son

  Hi Jo, You can go to the Sippy Downs Animal Centre and get a cat desexing voucher for $70 and they have a list of vets you attend for the desexing. I went to Palmwoods Vet for my female cat to be desexed. Thats all I paid, I desexed her this year. Hope this helps http://www.sippycreek.com.au
