  Doing a search on the group (one of the great new features added in FB) reveals that this question has been asked quite a few times before, but with very few or no answers, so I will ask it again: Can anybody personally recommend a good English-speaking accountant in Brussels? For me, "good" means that he has to be proactive in suggesting ways to minimize taxes and increase earnings. I have to chase my current accountant around or suggest ways myself all the time, after discussions with colleagues and friends, and I still keep discovering new things that my accountant never told me. Either he assumes that these things are obvious, or he just doesn't care, either way, I'm disappointed. I don't mind paying a higher price, as long as they can prove that I will save a lot more than what I pay them. Most of my colleagues are equally disappointed with their accountants and in general it seems to be mission impossible... :(

  Brussels Accounats(yes they are callled Nrussels accountants_ http://www.brussels-accountants.be/en/ can be good. I worked with them and they dont have the sympoms of chronic client disrespect which is so often a case with other accountants here.
