I've got to get something flyable myself yet and we will need a location too. An open field is BOOOORING but I don't want somewhere too difficult for the newbies so suggestions welcome. Realistically we would want a park with cut grass, trees, bushes and no dog walkers, runners, picnickers etc. Remember that it is now totally legal for us to fly (500g or below) in brisbane city parks but in reality we won't mix well with other park users. I'm thinking of setting up a fun track and we can do times laps and man on man racing. Let me know who's coming and location ideas and we can go from there.
