I have browsed a few sites and am not sure exactly what to look for in terms of price. As a college student, trying to keep it low budget as possible. Best case scenario I'd be looking for a 3 bed private room for below 100 dollar. Is this too much to ask? Should i expect highly inflated costs due to the fact that it is nearer the summer time? If anybody has a specific recommendations about hostels in these cities, particularly on the cheap side and those that would provide private rooms. I would also be interested in renting apartments. We would be staying about 4 nights in each city thanks in advance for all your help

  Don't know which season you're planning to go, but Urban Campsite Zeeburg Amsterdam has decent budgets http://www.campingzeeburg.nl/ They have cabins, too. They're not too far out of town, although for proximity you can't beat the hostels in the RLD.
