  Question for the group. Where can I find free wood chips? I know APS has a program but they warn against using them for garden spaces. I've also tried hitting tree trimmers up when i see them out and about, but no luck there either. Any help would be appreciated.

  Use a site called http://www.chipdrop.in. I have gotten free loads through them and love it. Basically sign up and when a tree company has a load they search for who's closest and drop it off

  http://www.Chipdrop.in just went live in Denver about two weeks ago, and I got my first load 7/2. It was about 3 cubic yards. FREE. Thanks Native Tree Service for the door to door delivery! Just make sure you pick a good location for the drop that doesn't block street or alley access, I had to move part of the pile pretty quickly to keep the alley open.
