Do you have an ophtalmologist to reccomend for an eye check? They do not have to speak English, Czech is fine, as long as they are patient with my neanderthal-like Czech skills. 2. Do you have an optician to reccommend for the purchase of the contact lenses? 3. Do you have any recommendations about the type of lenses I should get? I think I prefer daily lenses as I am only planning to wear them during practice and games (once or twice a week) 4. I have no clue how things work here in CR but in Sweden we have like "year memberships" for contact lenses and it includes a box with 6 lenses every 6 months and a check up every year with option to renew.   I got mine at Cocky Shop (well, Čočky Shop)...they're very close to the Florenc metro station, next to the Hilton. www.cockyshop.cz. Very nice, but I don't know for sure that the optician there speaks English, but she's young, so I'd say she'll have at least the basics You can book an appt online on their website.
