Not sure where he is based out of... LA or San Fran, but look up Kelly Starett and his website mobilitywod.com
Saturday I hurt my back by doing an excerise in-correctly and threw out my back. Ice, Heat, stretching the best that I could. Yesterday my back locked up and thankfully Dr. Smoot of Smoot Family Chiropractic spent the time with me yesterday to get me mobile again. Never take your health for granted. I am grateful to have Dr. Smoot in my life. If you our looking for a professional that cares, wants to do best for his clients by constantly learning - please call him for all of Chiropractic Needs. Thank you Dr. Smoot. Call Dr. Smoot at 831-751-3939 if you are looking for a great Chiropractor.

I have the perfect book for you to read! !!! Becoming a Supple Leopard by Lee Kelley Starter. He is a physical therapist/genius. K. Star , his nickname, works with world-class athletes: gymnasts, sprinters, Olympic weight lifters - the list goes on. He also had a free website , mobilityWOD.com, where he shows different mobility techniques everyday. I HIGHLY recommend the book and the website.
Any physical therapists out there? I need some excercises I can do for a shoulder injury? Doctor says he is pretty sure I have a slightly torn rotator cuff. Any help is appreciated.

Hey Facebook friends. I am looking for a massage therapist in the Santa Rosa area that does deep tissue muscle therapy (the kind that hurts... but works). I need some serious work on my calves so I can start running again. Thanks for the recommendations.
James M. replied:

Would love a new shoulder if anyone doesn't need theirs. Drop me a line.
Carolyn A. replied:
You should check out mobilitywod.com....Or you can buy the book "Becoming a Supple Leopard" by Dr. Kelly Starett. He has a lot of really great rehab stretches and mobility stuff to get the joints working right and feeling better. I'm using it right now for my own shoulder. The web site has some videos that you can look up on Youtube, as well.
Can anyone in Thunder Bay recommend a good physio clinic? Upper Limb Clinic says I'll have another 3 week wait and the pain in my hand is going to send me over the edge!
Judith S. replied:
I'm not in the bay any more, but this is a site that I have a certification through. Audra may even know of this site...and yes, he has his Doctorate in this field. www.mobilitywod.com just type in your injury or area of pain and a mobility exercise will pull up that you can do at home. Better than nothing when on those lovely wait lists
does anyone know of a good pain relief doctor for sciatica? i'm tried chiropractic, massage, stretching, praying, rain dances, and even sorcery with no luck. I'm wondering about cortisone shots. anyone have a doctor recommendation?
So, I qualified for the Australian Amateur Strongman National Championships
who said crossfitters cant compete in strongman? now i gotta actually get strong. any strongmen/strongman trainers competitors etc in this group wanna help me out ;)
Bench P. replied:
I recommend www.mobilitywod.com for shoulder rehab advice. I've got glass shoulders too but I still bench 175 kg in comp with them. Lots of shoulder prehab work helps. Work your rear delts and associated muscles religiously. Shoulder dislocate stretching every night and rotator stretching every few hours can also work wonders too.
Does anyone know any good sites for Mobility Wods?
(besides the website mobility wod)
Looking for somewhere that has a whole heap of different ones I can look through :)
Stephen B. replied:
Go to mobilitywod.comThat have some awesome explanations and exercises on mobility. They post new videos all the time.
start with mobilitywod.com. there's a subscription fee...but you can also find older free videos on youtube. work on releasing your posterior chain and see if that puts slack into the system and alleviates the pain. that's what i mean by "homework". theresa is really good about making sure you go home with stuff to work on. I see her once a month or so simply to improve range of motion and basic maintenance.

i'm pretty sure I've recommended MOBILITYWOD.COM to you before.
