  Double Glazing help. Dear all, we are looking to change our windows to double glazing. The quotes we have received so far are in the region of £40K which as you can appreciate is quite expensive, can't afford it and it could easily be the deposit for a flat. Do you have experience with double glazing in the UK and could you please make suggestions? Thanks in advance

  We used http://www.sashwindow.com and we were very happy. For most of our windows they were able to keep and weatherproof the existing sash and replace the single-glazed panes with double glazed.

  Sash Window Workshop, based in Bracknell - 01344 868 668. They are very good, they did 2 of my windows whilst still living at Fabian... Give them a call and get a quote. They might have to come out to you and take measurements unless they are all pretty standard! MWAH x
