  Phnom Penh to Battambang to Siem Reap Hey! This is my first post on Reddit. Please let me know if i posted in the wrong section. Next month I will be in Cambodia for a week. Flying in from Bangkok spending 2 nights in Phnom Penh before going to Battambang. My question are: how easy is it to book tickets on the various buses to Battambang? Should I book in advance or book on the day. Considering it takes 6 hours do they offer any overnight buses? If so, would you recommend them. How easy would it be to arrange a tuk tuk tour in Battambang? Should I contact a driver in advance? Buses to Siem Reap from Battambang. How often do they run? Should I book my ticket in advance? Or take a taxi from Battambang to Siem Reap? Thank you so much!

  Cali Dawson, take a private taxi (should be about $50/$60 one way for entire taxi from Phnom Penh city) to sihanoukville. About 4 hrs. (If by bus: Giant Ibis is one of the better companies, reliable and comfortable $10 per seat. See www.giantibis.com/fleet/) From Sihanoukville take a fastboat for about 40 min to get to koh rong. Hope this helps!
