  So I'm trying to reach out to our community of paramedics... I will be moving to Phoenix from Denver in the next few months and have been searching for jobs but can't seem to find anything, only facility ground transports. I am wondering if I am just not looking in the right places or if it's tough for medics in Phoenix. Are there any 911 agencies that anyone could recommend? Do the ER's down there use medics who are able to work their full scope? Or will I just have to suck it up and work GT? I'm a 3 year paramedic and currently hold: FP-C AZ State / CO state paramedic w/ critical care endorsement NRP ACLS/PALS/BLS AMLS/ PHTLS My experience includes Emergency Department Paramedic, Critical Care 911 (Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit), and Flight Paramedic (Army) Any help in pointing me in a good direction would be greatly appreciated!!

  Air methods (www.airmethods.com) is always hiring in the area of your wanting to get into flight medicine, looks like you have the experience to. AMR has the whole valley on lock at this point, they hire pretty regularly and pay well but it's mostly interfacility transports still as they only have two Ems contracts. Phoenix Fire has ambulances so they do all of the transports within the city. With your experience and certifications I would get into flight medicine if your moving to Phoenix, you will be happy at air methods or phi. I have been at air methods for almost 3 years...love it here still :)
