Looking for a recommendation of a place to board an older dog with a couple of quirks (believe he was previously abused). Anyone have experiences good or bad with local places?

Melanie Klammer from the Bindy Inn is the way to go. She is a vet tech and obedience trainer and gives close personal, loving attention to all the dogs she boards. I would not trust mine with anyone else. She works well with dogs of all personalities.

The Bindy Inn is definitely a home environment. If you try Melanie out, you won't be sorry. When I am away, she even sends me pictures and notes about how my dog is doing, so I don't feel worried. Best of luck to you, whichever way you go.
