  I stayed at the Sydney Central Backpackers’ hostel, which is adjacent to the main central train station in Sydney. That's a great place to stay when you arrive, as you can get a train straight from the airport to the train station, which is about $15, that's directly outside the accommodation – easy-peasy! It’s a 5* hostel with a pool on the roof and feels a bit luxurious for a hostel too: http://www.sydneybackpackers.com.au/
