  So my amazing 8 year old daughter has been drawing and making an amazing portfolio of fashion designs. She has gone as far as to try to dress her friends in her creations using her dress clothes and additions with velcro and safety pins. She is begging me for a sewing lessons and a sewing machine for her birthday in November. I am the worst seamstress in the world and cant even sew a button. Does anyone know of a local place that teaches children to use a sewing machine or sew in general that are not too expensive? Anyone on here who does this sort of thing and has patience to teach a very special talented child?
