  Hi, Did I see a thread on here about great places to stay in either Brisbane or Gold Coast for families? Any suggestions folks? Dont want tired, but want fun with pools etc... And I am rather paranoid of high rises with Hamish. -I guess I am rather fussy!! Most important is not a high rise -or at least rooms without a balcony thanks!

  Just in case anyone misses it from Jazzy Benn treasure island, right next to harbour town & coles / woolies. 7 ks into surfer's. Three pools, jumping pillow, outdoor movies, kids club, well priced food and cocktails. http://www.treasureisland.com.au/

Just wondered whether anyone could tell me the difference between the Vuly Classic and Vuly2 (not the Thunder). Is the Vuly2 worth the extra $300?? TIA

  E - this place is great for families. They have a bistro & bar and heaps of things for kids to do inside the park. Approx 10 ks to the theme parks aswell. http://www.treasureisland.com.au

  We stayed here a few years ago, everyone loved it. Three pools, games room, jumping pillow, payground, bbq facilities, kids club, tennis court, onsite cafe/restaurant. We stayed in a cabin, was a bit small but we were hardly there so it was fine. http://www.treasureisland.com.au
