  Recommendations on getting to and from Dublin Zoo and Tayto park from Cork "Hi lenore, can anyone recommend the best way to go to Dublin zoo and tayto park from cork? I'm going with 2 toddlers, so I suppose I need to drive and spend a night or 2 in hotel? Is tayto park far from Dublin ? Would like to take the train up but don't know if there is public transport from Dublin to tayto park. As you can see I'm not sure where to start, so if anyone can recommend hotels, transport, itineraries etc...."

  i can highly recommend Ashling Hotel (http://www.ashlinghotel.ie/), just few steps from the Zoo. Very nice place and can get nice deal for 1 night. We spent all Valentine's Day (about 8 hrs) with our 6 yo son at zoo and had great time!
