(Has anyone stayed in the Elephant Resort and/ or Monkey Forest area? What about up on or near the Volvano?!) ....>My kiddos are portable & self-sufficient, so we are open to memorable locations.   Check out www.alamindahbali.com I stayed there with a friend about a year ago. It's just beyond the top end of Monkey Forest. It's an easy walk down into Ubud town. Quiet, pretty gardens and a pool.
