  You can scrounge most of the material you are needing. Cruse you local automobile repair shops. What you are looking for is any thing that has been cast before. Heads pistons, intake manifolds, water pumps, transmission cases. Lawn mower engines and some time the deck. For the bronze use silicone bronze. It is the most forgiving of the bronzes.
