  APPEAL FOR OFFERS OF HELP FOR OUR SON We have a little 4 year old boy who is SEVERELY DISABLED. He is unable to sit up, walk, feed himself or play with a toy. We need help to do his physio. CAN YOU HELP HIM ?? He is mentally with it just his body does not work. He smiles and laughs a lot and can only say about 6 words. Imagine waking up tomorrow not being able to communicate to tell people what you want, unable to feed yourself and relying on other people to care for your every need, our son has had 4 years of this and will have it for the rest of his life !! Can anybody donate any special needs toys or help with physio. Thank you.

  Im not reaaly sure if this is the correct place to ask but im stuck! We have recently been moved house by our local council, to a house that has some adaptations appropriate for cathans needs. The garden is terrible and hugely unsafe so we have had a couple of local companies come and look and give us quotes to make it safe and accessible. We have always been aware of the family fund but always tried to provide stuff for ourselves untill now. It has a small comment on there form about using there own providers. Does anyone know if this means we cant use who we have chosen to carry out the work? Im a little confused to be honest. Many thanks. Xx

I'm looking for a bit of help but by no means looking g for charity.me and my partner can pay we just don't have the sort of money it would usually cost. My garden is ok...but not great. The dog has ruined ithe grass and chewed wood from fencing. Id like to be able to put my son in the garden during summer to crawl around. He has down syndrome and not the best immune system. So returfing or growing new grass would be ideal.we want to try to fence off a large section for the kids only and to unable us to carry out such work without it being ruined.our dog will have his own fairly large area. Does anyone know of someone that will do this sort of work at a price that well is realistic for people not so well off? I understand landscapers need to make a living ofcourse.I suppose I'm just looking for a little help. Kind regards

  Andy appears to be correct, see link, announcement in 2013, now give a small grant 'driving ambitions' to disabled young persons who havent started a course of lessons. Vanessa, BSM did used to have contract but the applicant did have some choice as I taught one (around 2012) and didn't work for BSM . http://www.familyfund.org.uk/.../news.../driving-ambition
