Does anyone know of any agencies that will help a family with a special needs/autistic child find a home to rent in Santa Clara county?

One agency is Parents Helping Parents (http://www.php.com/) you can look at the website for more information. Also, check http://www.211 scc.org/ for other resources. I hope you find the help you need.

Hello! Do you know of a place where I could find out about the schools in the bay area? I have a son with severe cognitive disabilities and autism.
Parents P. replied:
Greetings Holly! There are many schools and depending on the district in which you live, there will be different services. Visit http://www.greatschools.org/california/mountain-view/schools/?gradeLevels=m&gradeLevels=h&st=public to see schools in a particular area of the Bay Area and may give you some information about the overall schools, not particularly special ed. It is difficult to get specific info about district programs however, every district has programs and PHP is here to assist you to ensure that you are an equal partner in the process of your son's education. Call us anytime! 408-727-5775
