  In two days RSVP's to my sons 9th birthday are due and I have had one response out of x16. I am very disappointed!!! I have spent months planning, and saving to pay for his cake, candy buffet, food and admission for each child to attend. So.... in two days I'm pulling the plug! I would love for some suggestions on gold coast resorts/ hotels and places to take him, just us two for two nights. I'm currently looking into; The Hilton, Crowne Plaza and Sea World Resort.

  I don't even bother with parties anymore. Yes my kids would love their wee friends to celebrate but I would rather buy them a nicer gift that will last and do something as a family. Having said that my daughter is 10 in Jan so she can invite 2 friends for a sleepover I'll prob take them out for a high tea and a manicure.   We have stayed a few times at paradise resort...great kids program/kids club for all ages..the rooms are great for families...they also have special dinner nights...only problem is they book out fast www.paradiseresort.com.au

  We have stayed in a couple of locations but last time stayed@Paradise Resort in Surfers with our 6 year old in a Junior Bunk Suite - I would highly recommend the hotel if u have children - great waterplayground, kids activities, theme dinner nights, great buffet breakfast (included in our price) even has an ice skating rink. http://www.paradiseresort.com.au/
