We used these folks in Las Vegas. Nothing but good things to say about them. Lone Mountain Animal Hospital, 6688 W Cheyenne Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89108. (702) 645-3116
Zelda pee'd/pooped blood! Just blood, good amount, bright red, nothing else.
NO lead anywhere near her, nothing else ingested.
She's so young, kidney failure! ? Recommend a vet please, taking her bright and early.
Can anyone please advise or give me name/number of a good vet experienced with land turtles/tortoises? My 36yr old female three-toed box turtle has had white gooey eyes for 2 days now. I've been soaking her 2-3x's a day 20-30min each. I've tried fish oil drops and that works while she's in water (she could open one or both eyes while in water) but the second I take her out it closes. I've read to try neosporin (triple antibiotic cream) but I'm sceptical. She is not showing signs of upper respiratory problems (bubbly nose etc) if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Someone suggested I use my prescribed antibiotic eye drops (prescribed for pink eye) but I don't want to use anything without talking to vet and everyone I've called doesn't have experience with land turtles and are hesitant to see her. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what else to do!!!

Unfortunately, eye issues in reptiles can be much deeper than just an eye infection. I second Lone Mountain animal hospital for this love. <3 (702) 645-3116.
