My son went here for his Senior Prom Tux 3 weeks prior to the date. He is a very slim taller young man, he wanted the "Skinny" fit pants with suit coat. They told him they can only get the "Skinny" fit pants in black, so that is what he had to work with. Picking out the remainder of his tux to match these black "skinny" pants. He was measured, and told they would call him a week an a half later on Tuesday to come and try it on. (The week of Prom, which was on Friday) That Tuesday afternoon, called and let him know his tux was in. We went to the shop and the jacket was VERY large and the black "skinny" pants were not really black nor skinny. They were navy blue and classic fit. The owner said she would reorder the suit coat smaller, and called the company right away regarding the coat and color/fit of pants. They agreed they would send a smaller jacket & the correct pants by Thursday. Thursday came and no call was received. I called them myself and was advised it had arrived to come try them on that evening. We went to the shop that evening, the night before Prom, to find that the jacket was short in the arm length and the pants were yet again not "skinny". The owner said she could let the length out of the jackets arms and called the company again letting them know the pants were incorrect for the 2nd time. The company agreed to airmail the black "skinny" fit pants to her store, she said they would be in at 10:30am the next day, Friday of Prom. I did not feel comfortable with the previous two experiences, so that night my son and I went to Kohl's and bought 2 pair or black suit pants, skinny fit to have as a back up. Friday at 10:30am no call received from the shop, at 10:45am and still no call. I called the shop and spoke with the owner who advised that the pants came in but were STILL not the correct pants. But she spoke to her other comp. who happened to be in the shop when the 3rd pair arrived and that company located a pair in Indiana & they would arrive by noon that day. Friday the day of prom. I took off work early that day, drove him down to the shop for the 3rd time to only find that the pants were still not "skinny". At this point prom pictures were in 3 hours we had no choice but to take what she had and use the Kohl's pants with the tux. The items were not iron/steamed. While I was ironing all pieces I noticed the swatch that went into the pocket of jacket was missing, had to call the shop to let the owner know it wasn't in the bag. She located it, and we made another trip to pick up the missing item. After all the hassle, not wearing the pants that did NOT fit, I still had to pay for them was only given a $20.00 discount off a $179.99 tux, that had to be returned. It was a bad experience all around, no empathy was given from the owner, as I don't believe I should have been responsible for paying for items that were incorrect & not used.
Other than John Panazzo and Tholens and the flower depts in the stores, do we have any flowers shops in the Kankakee area, mostly in Bradley, Bourbonnais
