  Fellow rescuers, need advice please : we have an extremely serious problem with fleas and ticks. The place is sprayed on a regular basis and the adult dogs are tick free, the problem is with the puppies- they don't react well to the tick spray (start vomiting etc), so they are not sprayed as often as the adults.. so they are full of ticks :( Has anyone tried a spray that won't harm the puppies? our other solution is frontline every puppy but it will cost a lot, can anyone suggest a cheaper and safer solution please???

  Heaven on Earth in Qualicum Beach might have it (speak to Jim) or Island Naturals in Nanaimo (Metral Dr, near HSBC and Romeos). They could both order it in if not in stock, but if that is likely to take too long, you can also order it from www.caninenaturalcures.co.uk, who I have used for years. The owner, Frances, is very quick to respond and my remedies get here within a week. She has a Fragaria remedy, which I believe goes under the name of Cheshire Cat. Chrissie
