  (SOLD) Looking for a highly recommended mechanic FREE ISO a great mechanic that is highly recommended... please post your experience with the services that you have had done on your vehicles. Here's my situation. We bought a 2006 honda pilot less than a year ago from a dealership out in Houston. Highly recommend, but unfortunately our warranty does not cover our alternator getting fixed. The red battery light came on, so we know our battery is not getting enough charge. We took it to autozone to get the test done on the battery and alternator. The battery is fine. The alternator has a lot of ripples, so it will need to be replaced. If you can give me quotes and numbers... I would appreciate it!

  ISO: HONEST mechanic that can come look at 2 different trucks ( we will pay fee for MECHANIC to actually come and look at the 2 trucks) for a motor swap. We already know they are a match, just need to know if this is worth doing. One truck is completely totaled but the motor is intact, other truck has blown motor that is already out of the truck. The untotaled truck is my husbands, it is very important to him we get this done (it was his fathers who is now deceased) any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
