  Recommendation for sewing machine repair and servuce £35 - Manchester, United Kingdom I have a brother Galaxy 2000 that Bambers condemned as unfixable - I asked Abida Jenkins for advice on selling the parts and she has only gone and fixed it.... Unbelievable.... The sewing machine works,the embroidery machine works and she fixed the cutter..... Can't recommend enough - if anyone in the greater Manchester area needs their machine looking at pm Abida you will not be disappointed - plus I waited 6 weeks for bambers to say unfixable and she sorted in two days....amazing.

  Thank you Cathy. No, I don't have a bricks and mortar shop, so Janome, nor Brother will supply machines for me to sell. I don't have any preloved ones to sell at present, I do occasionally get one or two donated. Most go to the charity www.tfsr.org but ones they can't send to africa, i sell locally once repaired and send the cash to tfsr.

  Tools for Self Reliance in Wales have some tools online: http://www.tfsrcymru.org.uk/tool-sales/products. And TSFR in UK may be able to put you in touch with a more local organisation - or help to set one up. Good tips on tool restoration as well. http://www.tfsr.org/
