A place with friendly horse people, places to train, good equine services, and lots of rides within a few hours, with a reasonable cost of living, and good hay!

  NW Georgia and Tn... cheap cost of living, tons of places to ride, hay is about 4 bucks a big bai Paul N. Sidiol , cheaper if you load it yourself in the field. Tn does not have the income tax, but Georgia pays better and has better benefits, not that a person retiring would worry about that, but their family may want to move close to them as well. NW Georgia where I am currently, we have about 300 miles worth of trails between the Pinhoti, Dry Creek, Lula Lakes, The Battlefield (also very historic), and other misc trails that lead to them from folks property... http://www.bchnwg.org/
