Anyone knows a good way to an property agency to get their tight a***** into gear and send someone to fix leaks? (reported it a week ago now... :|)

Insurance or not the landlord is required to ensure the property is in a fit and functional order, this includes water (especially if it's hot water) I would suggest ringing the Letting agent and asking for the landlords direct number, if they say they are responsible for all contact then inform them that they are potentially in breach of the tenancy agreement.
