  It depends where you're heading to, Ma but if you check out YHA.org.uk you can book into any of the hostels on the network. Are you planning to climb fells or just tour the area?

  I think the yha at yha.org.uk are good- there's an Oxford st one which is good. I stayed nr st paul's and that was lovely
