  handa Rorrer Schroeder asked, "Does anyone know of any good social studies/history curriculums for elementary grades? "I'm looking for a Christian curriculum that doesn't take out anything. What I mean by that is I know in public schools they leave out important historical information or change it. I want a curriculum that is historically accurate. "Since my son will be in 1st grade, I may need to go with a workbook. I'm not really sure. I also would like to make it hands-on, so he learns well and remembers what we learn. "Also, I have 2 other children who aren't school age yet, so I would like something that I can reuse to save money. I know I can't reuse a workbook, but those are generally cheap, so either a workbook or something reusable is OK."
