  I live in Greensboro and I'm looking for a behavioral therapist that accepts medicaid. My son sees a doctor at the Duke Autism Clinic but medicaid won't pay for mental health services there because we are in a different county. Apparently, this is a new thing. The doctor told me to contact Sandhills for references, but the list I got from there is long and I need to call each office and make sure they have experience dealing counseling a child with autism. I thought I might be able to shorten the list by asking here. Thanks for your help!

  call Family Solutions of the Triad (NOT family SERVICES of the triad). They are WONDERFUL!! My son has seen them off and on for years and they accept Medicaid and have experience with autism. http://www.famsolutions.org/
