I know there are some online companies like World Nomads, but is it better to buy from a Brazilian company? We're an American family of 6 and just got a quote for 35,000 baht which seemed quite pricey compared to what we were paying in Singapore which is significantly more expensive for everything else?   I am an American and am currently in the immigration process to Hungary. Does anybody know what kind of insurance I need that is required until this is completed? I want to make sure i'm covered for things like broken bones and surgery if needed. I dont like high deductibles but I'm not worried about minor things like checkups etc that can wait until i'm part of the union. I am married to a Hungarian but I'm in the process of immigration.
