Hello,
Can anyone in Copenhagen recommend a good pediatrician or insurance company (private) which will give me access to a pediatrician??
Many thanks.
Maria

Hey Nora, in general it works the way that if your child needs special care you take him/her to the doctor who will send you to a pediatricianl if needed - and without private insurance. The most popular health insurance in Denmark to my knowledge is called "Danmark" - very original name btw, but never mind - here's a link to their webpage: http://www.sygeforsikring.dk/Default.aspx?ID=33 Children are free members as far as I know, so it should be no problem. Concerning specially good pediatricians, I have to admit that I haven't heard about any that should be much better than others. But I can tell you that Bispebjerg Hospital is a very nice one, at least the experiences I have had there! So if you go there, I'm sure you and your child will be treated as best as it is possible! I hope you can use my answer and that everything will turn out allright! Kind regards Christian
Hi Internationals!
Can anyone recommend some travel insurance from here? Most of my searches have yielded U.K. based companies (needing a U.K. address). And the Danish ones cost over 400 dkk even though I am taking only a two-week holiday!
Tusind tak :)

http://www.sygeforsikring.dk/ you need to pay for membership to get healh insurance in denmark, and then extra for the travel insurance. But its very affordable. and you get 50% of on vaccinations as well. Great deal
