  We stayed student accommodation not in Central in the flower district about 20 mins walk from Central Station. It was a historic skinny canal warehouse building -Van onna. There is a news clip in the breakfast room about a film made in the room we stayed in. http://www.hotelvanonna.nl/ Leigh also recommends hans brinker no hot water and a laugh of a website
