  Maybe listen to some music outside your genre and blend some of the elements you like. I know you've got an incredible resource over at www.ocremix.org as well as some excellent beats from groups like U.G.K., etc. U.G.K. made some great examples that I (and apparently almost all rappers) go to in order to find innovation.
