  If you have a child support order from a judge that is not being enforced contact the HFS office in Aurora (800) 447-4278 and they can give you information for the xhild support enforcement department which is right on Indian Trail across from the DMV. I sent them my court ordered support papers and divorce decree and probably some other misc. paperwork ( this was 8 years ago) and they took over at no cost to me. Even when my ex left the state hoping to avoid child support they found him and hold him accountable still today (even though kids are graduated) for all arreages. It is worth the time it takes to set it up.

  It says they find him and order the papers to him, also says if she's enrolled in public assistance she's already enrolled 18004474278 just try that and the court thing and let me know. It does look like a difficult process when it should be easy with as many dead beats hanging around reproducing

  A friend Had recieved child support for 7 years. The father also covered insurance. A few months back he cancelled the insurance on his children ( no notifications to mom ) and stopped paying his support. She got an attorney. They went to court. He was ordered to pay up. He is NOT PAYING ANYTHING ! She is getting NOWHERE FAST ,trying to fight this battle. It seems to be a huge paperwork shuffle. She is a single mom of 2 children , working full time ,and it is a daily struggle. Who in the ridiculous state of Illinois ,does she need to talk to in order to make this man cover HIS CHILDREN'S expenses ??? Anyone have any ideas ??? WHO ENFORCES THAT A FATHER PAY THE AMOUNT ORDERED BY A COURT SYSTEM, IN A TIMELY MANNER ??

  Have her go to this website http://www.childsupportillinois.com/. Unless the attorney set up child support thru them the state wont go after them. They helped me after not getting support for 7 years.
