  I'm extremely irritated with rescues in our area. My mom is trying to adopt a dog for the first time, and every place we've tried to contact is being extremely judgemental about one thing or another. Whether its a lack of fence or a different opinion on yearly vaccines, they're making it impossible for her to save a dog. No wonder people end up buying from breeders or elsewhere. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone more open minded?

  And not in the area - but I work with romeoville humane society. I'd do an out of area adoption for your mom if she was interested in meeting anyone available through them? If she's looking for a pup theyve got a litter of shepherd/lab/catahoula pups 9 wks old right now who will be ready soon. Super cute
