  PLEASE HELP. I've gone outside this morning to find my neighbors pet bunny...outside, in a cage, with the door open. Apparently, they were hoping the bunny would just leave, but when I went out with my dogs this morning, they led me to this. I do not have any history of the bunny other than I know it has been an indoor bunny it's entire life. Very pretty...mostly black with white markings. Not a small bunny. I have held the bunny. What should I do? Is there anyone that is interested in the bunny or is there an animal shelter close that can help? I am at 40th and Kenwood. I will have to get to work soon and just cannot believe someone could leave it out like this. Please inbox me if any knowledge on what I can do to help the poor bunny. Thank you.

  I have a house rabbit that is 11 yrs old. Ginny is correct. Pet bunnies do not know how to survive in the wild. You can try the Missouri House Rabbit Society. They are located in Lees Summit. 816-356-3900 or hrsmissouri@aol.com if you can not find a forever home.
