  Good morning Hip D! So I'm refinishing my hardwood floors in my 1961 house. They are beautiful, but I have run into a few unexpected things that I may need some professional help with. Any suggestions on a company who refinishes hardwoods?? I'd like to get a few estimates... Thanks in advance!

  R&S Flooring did mine and they did an EXCELLENT JOB!! I originally planned on refinishing and staining my hardwood floors myself. I rented all the equipment at Home Depot and it did NOT turn out to my expectations (and I can do nearly anything as a handyman). I called R&S to completely redo them correctly and they fixed them to perfection. The sanders that they rent at Home Depot don't give you the finish needed for a professional look. Take my word on this (I've seen both results). Here's the number for R&S 615-771-0084
