Building Management came up to the Apartment to inform her unit below her had extensive water damage and are blaming her and gave her a bill for nearly $8000 in repairs as they say "the damage must have been caused by her unit" She is scared to death, has little money and says there is NO way the damage was caused by her it is impossible (no the bathtub never overflowed nor did the wash machine) This is quite urgent, please is there someone out there that can help a very responsible young woman take this on, and not be bullied by the building Management Corp? He says he has sent the info but we don't receive a notice of assessment. It has cost me money and headaches. The last straw is him somehow managing to screw up my hat so bad that CRA is coming after me for $15,000 for a year when I made ZERO (I had upgraded one of my degrees so didn't work). He has said he keeps sending it in and it just doesn't seem to be getting to the right department. Needless to say they have now frozen my bank accounts and emptied the contents. Fun stuff eh??? This is the worst accounting firm I have ever seen!!!! (Not an LWL member) I've had to be hire someone who's a tax expert at a much higher rate and refuse to pay the old accountant another penny. I would like to know if there is a small claims court or some over course of action I can take against this idiot accountant who doesn't know his letters from his numbers. Any advice would be appreciated. Needless to say his $700 bill won't be getting paid. ***I DON'T NEED ANOTHER ACCOUNTANT*** I have a ball buster now who's on it :).
